How I work
My Counselling Approach
My approach is based on ‘humanistic’ principles, my modality is person-centered which aims to provide you with a safe space to talk through difficulties in a welcoming and supportive environment, and to find your own ways of addressing issues. I am not the expert, you are the best expert on you, and together we can dive as deep as you are able to go, in order to move forward. This requires a commitment from you to attend regular counselling sessions over a period of time. You would have thought carefully about coming to therapy and whatever has bought you to that decision now, I hope to offer you a non-judgemental, safe and supportive setting where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.

30-Minutes Consultation
I offer a free no obligation 30-minute consultation, either *face to face or via telephone, where I can find gather some basic information and which allows you the space to ask questions and see how it might feel for us to work together.
If you decide that you would like to work with me, then ongoing sessions are 50 minutes, and we would usually meet at the same time each week. Counselling can be short term, where we define a set number of sessions to explore a particular issue, or on an ongoing basis where we work to an end when it feels appropriate to do so.
